TWS have a complete custom design service available to provide you with exactly the right voltage transformer to meet your specific application. We have indoor and outdoor Voltage Transformers available up to 36kV. We provide single, two or three phase units, with one or two secondary windings which can be dual class, i.e. 0.5/3P.
The 3.6KV, 6.6KV and Units can be fully insulated for phase to phase operation.
Outdoor Voltage Transformers
Enclosure:
High voltage oil filled can be either galvanised steel or stainless steel.
Ratios:
Up to 36 KV with either a 63.5 or 110 V secondaries.
Burden:
Depends on the requirements but usually less than 100VA.
Class:
Metering and protection classes can be accommodated.
Insulation:
Uninhibited oil.
Connections:
All vector groups available for 3 phase arrangements but usually YNyn0.
Primary Terminations:
Tin plated palm terminals on porcelain bushings.
Secondary Terminations:
Klippon SAK 6N terminals or fuses.
Testing:
Manufactured to IEC or AS standards. All transformers are tested in the Transformer Winding Services high voltage test laboratory and supplied with test certificates to meet the requirements of the standards.
